Doctor Bob
I recently completed a three week study with a wonderful fellow Dr. Bob Guns, a fellow stroke survivor out of North Carolina. Bob put together a volunteer study that had the volunteers pick three tasks that we wanted to improve upon during the three week study.
The program is called the RAISE program
During the three weeks of charting results I improved my abilities an average of 45%.
The study reaffirmed what I already knew, that if you want to improve in any activity you need to practice.
This is a universal truth and not just advice for us Strokies, it is just that as stroke survivors we need to work harder if we want to improve our current condition.
Dr. Bob is working on a handbook to be an aid for distribution through University research centers.
I am sure that I will provide further information on the great work that Bob is doing as I am updated.
God Bless everyone
