I'm Fixing a Hole

That's right I'm fixing a hole like in the Beatles song. in fact after just completing a nice little workout session with some ten pound weights I wanted to write about my new accomplishments. So here i am with the Beatles playing as I write this. The first song of course was "I'm Fixing A Hole"

I was lying on my back with my arms stretched out like the crucifix position. Then starting out with a ten lb. weight in my right hand and a two lb. weight I lift them together to where they meet above my head. I do three sets of ten each time I focus on stretching out and extending the left arm and shoulder a little more each time.

I repeat the process this time the weight in my left hand is five pounds. As I do this set I lift my legs about six inches off the floor to work the core stomach muscles. This is hard but it gets easier each time.

My last three sets are with a ten pounder in the left hand. Today was the first time I was able to get through all three sets.
I did a lot of talking to myself. I visualized the "dead" gray brain section and pictured myself almost like shoveling snow and clearing a path through this dead area where a conduit could be run to reconnect the wires.

I was swearing at myself in encouragement as I lifted each time ."Come on. you son of a bitch" I was getting angry and it worked.

I am getting sick and tired of dealing with these dead connections that don't seem to be connected. I am going to make the connections . I am going to visualize and force the connections. To plow through the gray area.

I have to push myself through stretching and exercise.

Music helps a lot too, as I am now listening to the Beatles "It's Getting Better All The Time.

I'm going to stretch out some more and as soon as this San Diego May Grey mist(rain) stops my butt is going for a four mile run with some bursts of sprints included. "Come on you son of a bitch, do it. " I can, I will, I must. I'm Fixing a hole.
