Ego ,Presence, Consciousnes, Awareness
Albert Einstein once said, "That our ego is an optical illusion of consciousness".
In his book, "A New Earth", Eckhart Tolle describes the word "I" as the greatest error and the deepest truth, depending on how it is used.
We identify ourselves by the things that we own or that belong to us. "This land is mine", "I am the owner of...", "My wife, husband, etc".
We derive our sense of identity through our so called possessions which do not belong to us at all.
We are so much more than our perceived ego allows. We are all a part of the human consciousness.
We can begin to move past these limiting beliefs by simply becoming aware of them.
Becoming aware is the first step towards achieving your own Presence
I recommend reading "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle to learn about becoming aware of our ego and it's relation to consciousness.
