I Hear Voices
No, i don't see dead people too. I just get this constant chatter in my mind all the time. My mind is always talking to me and I have had
some very interesting conversations as well.
But no, I don't think that I am special, wait I take that back, i do think that i'm special, but not because of the voices that I hear.
Because you hear them too, we all do. It's like me proclaiming, "I breathe or my blood circulates". i hope so, but like having constant
mind chatter, all this means is that I am still alive., which at least from my point of view is a good thing.
in his book, a New Earth, Eckart Tolle, writes about the importance of being aware of our Presence. That is living in the present moment,
as that is the only time that we can ever really live anyway.
But how often are we actually not really present because our mind is either in the past lamenting about something that we no longer
have any control, or on some future event that may or may not happen?
You see the only moment that we can ever control is right now. I am not suggesting that we forget our past experiences or to no longer
plan for the future.
Just begin to become aware of these voices and what they are telling us. I actually love my voices especially in my early quiet morning
hours. This is when I receive my creative thoughts and often times I am able to write them down. They are helpful to me in my writings.
Today while on my morning walk/run workout, at a time where I normally allow by mind free reign, I became aware that the most
important thing for me at certain points was to become one with myself. To focus on my task at hand, whether it was bouncing a
tennis ball, balancing on logs and rocks or focusing on my feet as I ran so my step and my pace would improve.
My suggestion is to simply start to become aware. This is the beginning step towards awareness and to be one with our higher
Consciousness and with God. I am excited knowing that I am at the bottom stair and I will take one step at a time.
