Pain and Pleasure, Your Emotional Guidance Scale

Tony Robbins often talks about how peoples motivation to change their emotional state is related to either pain or pleasure.

The driving factors and the main reason we do the things that we do is either to make ourselves feel good (pleasure) or to avoid feeling bad(pain)

With that in mind I am going to list our Emotional Guidance Scale that I took from "Ask and it is Given", by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

This scale is designed to help you to open up your Energy Source to the Universal Law of Attraction.(God)

Without trying to get all New Agey but to recognize that there does exist an energy that flows throughout the universe. This source is

available for us to tap into to allow the energy to work with us and not against us. Hopefully this guide which is taken from Chapter 22

of the Ask book by the Hicks will help you to align your emotions with the possibilities of tapping into this source.

                                                                                 Pleasure
This is what we want and where we are closest to alignment with our spirit source. The lower numbers are where we want our

emotions to be. Visualize the chart as a ladder that we have the power to either go up or down at will simply by choosing our

emotional state,

1. Joy/ Knowledge/ Empowerment/ Freedom/ Love/ Appreciation
2.Passion
3.Enthusiasm/ Eagerness/ Happiness
4. Positive Expectation/ Belief
5.Optimism
6.Hopefulness
7.Contentment
8.Boredom
9. Pessimism
10.Frustration
11.Overwhelm
12.Disappointment
13.Doubt
14.Worry
15.Blame
16.Discouragement
17.Anger
18.Revenge
19.Hatred/ Rage
20.Jealousy
21.Insecurity/ Guilt/ Unworthiness
22.Fear/ Grief/ Depression/Despair/ Powerlessness

                                                                                       Pain

Can you see how just by controlling your emotions you can literally set yourself up to allow either pain or pleasure to enter your life?

I recommend you read the book to learn strategies to help you allow Joy(Pleasure) into your life.

May you live a Joyful, Passionate life on Purpose
