Time To Start Giving
I have to be honest. Ever since I have been writing these blogs it has been mainly to inspire myself. Like everyone els,e my mind will
meander up and down. To positive and to negative thoughts. One of my expressions that I often use is"What you focus on and believe
in is true". Another way of saying it is"What you focus on expands".
I take those to heart and that strategy has been a blessing towards keeping my attitude positive.
This is why I have written only positive inspirational thoughts (I hope) they have been mainly for my own benefit. I want to capture as
many positive inspirational thoughts as I can to strengthen and reinforce the way I really want my life to be. It is not always easy but
then again nothing truly worthwhile ever comes easy like getting in top physical shape.
We need to work on the things that we truly want in life. My goal has been to improve my life. To become a functional member of
society once again.
I know now after much reflection that the more that I give, the more that I can contribute, the more that I receive in return.
Because of my stroke I have been on the receiving end way more than on the giving side.
My focus now is on giving. It's time, it's time to get over myself and start contributing to the universe.
The good thing is that I know deep down in my heart, and I always really did know it, but perhaps I needed to experience the receiving
end to fully understand that it is truly much more fulfilling to give.
I will continue to search for strategies that I feel will be beneficial to peoples lives and to share those with as many people as
possible.
That is my life's purpose. Please remind me if stray.
